GRETA MOORE, PLA
Greta is a licensed Landscape Architect with over ten years of experience in ecology, landscape design, planning, and climate change education. As the founder and principal of Junegrass Design, Greta’s passion for merging art and ecology drive her to create beautiful spaces that enhance habitat, foster climate resilience, and serve people, plants, and animals in reciprocity. She holds a Master’s of Science in Ecological Landscape Design and Planning from The Conway School in Massachusetts and a BS from the University of Vermont.
In addition to her work at Junegrass Design, she is an Ecological Design Specialist for Geum Environmental Consulting, working on ecological restoration and remediation projects in Montana and Idaho.
Most of her free time is dedicated to her two young kids, but when she’s not building forts or playing on playgrounds, Greta enjoys spending time in her garden, painting, and exploring in the mountains.
OUR MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to transform landscapes into spaces that work in synchronicity with the natural world and that support the needs of the humans, plants and animals they serve.
We aim to provide accessible services to members of the Bozeman community and beyond and are excited to work with you to realize your vision, working within your budget and listening to your goals.
We celebrate collaboration and are experienced working with other design professionals including architects, planners, and specialists.
All of our projects are grounded in sustainable principles. We use native plants, honor seasonality, and create habitats and edible landscapes in a way that promotes beauty and resilience.
